Alex B.
Gravett, VN, Director
I qualified
as Veterinary Nurse at Brinsbury College of Agriculture and Horticulture in
Pulborough, West Sussex, UK
1999. I became a RVN in 2009.
I was
a Head Nurse in private Small Animal Practice for 6 years after a total of 14
years in the same practice (The Ark, Hassocks, West Sussex).
My special
interests are in aquatics, feline and exotic species among others as I own 12
spur thigh tortoises, 2 elderly Birman cats (one of which is "home made"). I also enjoy spoiling my 10 rescued guinea
pigs and have both summer and winter houses for them to enjoy.
I
have always - until very recently - also had dogs (Cocker Spaniels and
English Setters hold a special place in my heart). So yes I am a bit animal
mad as you probably have guessed already.

Susan Gregersen, DVM, MRCVS, OV
I graduated
as a Veterinary Surgeon at The Royal Veterinary University in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1999.
Being of adventurous nature, I "emigrated"
and joined a Mixed Small and Large Animal Practice in Norfolk in 2002. Puzzled and amazed by the
British' attitude and their love of their pets I have stayed ever since - but
opting for a permanent residence by the South Coast as reminding me of my
native Copenhagen.
I am particularly interested in the fields of emergency, geriatric,
behavioural and feline medicine. I keep up to date by attending various
lectures and seminars on relevant subjects held by top specialists in their
field.
Before
starting up Vets2Home in 2005 I gathered abundant local experience around Sussex,
working mostly as a locum Emergency Vet at Emergency Clinics/Hospitals in the
Brighton/Worthing Area (Grove Lodge, PETS, VetCall, pdsa, The Ark, Vets Now
and others).
As a "hazard
of the profession" I have 4 rescued cats and working with "WADARS", I
recently gave in and added a sweet female Jack Russell and a lovely male
staffy puppy to my family of rescued animals. They all get along famously
(and not least surprisingly).
